Meet Tianna
Tianna Boswell-Porter is the Marketing and Events Executive coach with an interest in the creation of texture artwork. Tianna is a New York native who moved to the Sarasota area in 2015. Tianna holds a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and Marketing Communications; she graduated magna cum laude from the Fashion Institute of Technology, a state University of New York.
During her studies at university, Tianna freelanced for notable contemporary women’s brands, managing their exhibitor logistics and acquiring buyers at major trade show events. Tianna has also worked as a Procurement Buyer in local Government, where she analyzed quotes, and wrote solicitations, and contracts for the acquisition of goods, technology, and services. In addition to her previous marketing and procurement professional experiences, she has also led two of a notable charitable foundation’s major program initiatives to support access to experience learning and emergency funds for Sarasota County students. She’s also sat on numerous scholarship, and grant committees, and nonprofit boards.
Outside of work, Tianna enjoys traveling, creative/educational writing, and volunteering to support the production and marketing needs of local events. Tianna and her husband Brandon can bring a wealth of knowledge to accomplish your business goals.
Meet Brandon
Brandon Porter is the Creative Director/Coach and Legal Advisor to The Portwell House. Brandon is an Indiana native who moved to the Tampa Bay Area (Florida) in 2012 after completing his Bachelor’s degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University. After moving to Florida, Brandon attended and completed law school at Western Michigan University - Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2017 and has been practicing as an attorney since 2018.
Working as an attorney full-time inspired Brandon to seek projects that piqued his interest that were more “hands-on” and could help balance the hours in the office. Through meeting Tianna and talking about an old dresser that she wanted to be refurbished (and with some encouragement from friends), Brandon began down a path of creativity and art that led to creating The Portwell House to showcase his abilities and work and help others find their passions and push forward the interests that drive you.
Additionally, when Brandon met Tianna, their combined experiences helped them create a unique approach to life and their pursuit of art and consulting in addition to the mentor programs they wish to build within The Portwell House. They’re honored to have the opportunity to not only help you grow but to help you thrive!
